| Description: |
To encourage safe cycling and to promote the Road Respect message throughout the state, Bike Utah, the Utah Department of Transportation, the Department of Public Safety and Zero Fatalities are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Road Respect Tour, June 4-9.
The tour will carry the Road Respect message from southern to northern Utah as a core group of Road Respect Riders travels Utah's roads, demonstrating obedience to the law and proper cycling etiquette. As they move from town to town, the Road Respect Riders will join with the public to participate in fun and educational community events called Road Respect Rallies, or shorter visits called Road Respect Stops. Many of the Road Respect events will feature mini car shows to attract drivers and encourage interactions between them and bicyclists |
